Our menu evolved through the years serving with passion
Haim Chicken is a family-run restaurant located at 294 Manalo Extension, Puerto Princesa City. It was founded on January 17, 1999; Haim Chicken was inspired with a recipe from the Visayan Archipelago in the Philippines. It then evolved to a family original recipe well known as The “Haim” Sauce to the locals of Palawan today – a perfect balance of sweet and savory that will keep you coming back for more.
Throughout 20 years of operation, Haim Chicken was able to maintain its touch. Until today, the restaurant has been the go-to place by all walks of Palaweños for many different occasions; from simple dinner dates, family gatherings, to festive birthday parties and other private events.
The restaurant’s flagship dishes are the “Haim Chicken”, marinated with the family’s recipe sauce; “Bam-e”, Palawan style, consisting of two noodle types which are pancit canton and sotanghon, offering an extraordinary blend of true Pinoy flavors; and the company’s new and improved “Halu-Halo”. It is also noteworthy that their kitchen is absolutely pork-free. Instead, they focus on maintaining an amazing selection of local seafood, vegetables, chicken, and beef.
The place is not just a feast for the taste buds, it is also a feast for the soul as it showcases Palawan’s rich culture & go-to-places. Alongside good food is a colorful collection of commissioned works from different local artists in Palawan.
After 20 years of traditional operations, Haim now opens its first mall branch at Robinsons Place Palawan, and is now starting to expand to the whole island province. With a business as soulful as Haim Chicken, being able to share it to the rest of the country is a privilege.
